While surf lifesavers volunteer their time, the costs of setting up a single beach patrol can add up to more than $80,000. This includes necessary up to date lifesaving items such as rescue boards, inflatable rescue boats, first aid kits, defibrillators, and much more.
The Peregian Beach SLSC plays a vital role in engaging the local community, providing a crucial volunteer public safety service, and providing opportunities for education, sports involvement and physical activity for members of all ages.
