Fri 23 Jan: 4:30pm–5:30pm — Proficiency Swim (Coolum Pool)
Sat 24 & Sun 25 Jan: 7am–12pm
Tues 27 Jan: 5pm–7pm
Wed 28 Jan: 5pm–7pm
Sat 31 Jan & Sun 1 Feb: 7am–12pm

Our education courses are nationally recognised courses through Surf Life Saving Queensland, providing opportunities for skills-based development and are provided for patrolling members of our club, to help save lives and keep Peregian Beach and surrounds safe.

Bronze Medallion/Surf Rescue Certificate

Candidates wishing to participate must ensure they have:
  1. A valid Blue Card (for over 18)
  2. Be a financial member
  3. Completed CYRMS and CSA 
  4. Be 13 yrs or older (SRC) or 15 yrs or older (Bronze)

Steps to becoming a Life Saver/Accessing Training Courses

  • If not already - naviagate to SLSA Website to become a member
    • If you don't already hold a blue card - apply for a blue card working with children if over 18
    1. Once a member - log into the SLS members portal to access the course
    2. Complete online CRYMS course
    3. Complete online CSA course
    4. Obtain a USI and have that added to your members profile 
    5. Create an aXeclerete account
    6. Apply for the course
