Become A Member

Welcome! We're delighted to have you join us.

Our membership year starts on the 1st of October and runs through to 30 September of the following year.

If you are looking to become a Lifesaver your first step is to join the club as an Active member. Please note that you will registered as Probationary until you complete your training. If the beach is not your forte, please consider joining as a Community Member; we are always appreciative of volunteer help. If you are looking to sign up for Nippers, please join as a Family Group. Member Benefits

When you join our club you will connect with a fraternity of like-minded people all looking to support our community and and each other while saving lives and preventing incidents in the ocean. Our clubhouse provides a social venue for different generations to gather, build relationships and enjoy the services we offer:

Free training courses to support lifesaving patrols and Nippers activities
Club house space specifically for members to meet and relax
Participation in social events and fun fundraising activities
Discounts on club merchandise
Discounts for supporters club events

Our goal is for our members to always feel welcome and to provide a range of programs and training that help our members advance their skills, knowledge and lifesaving capabilities.

New Members

Sign up is online via the SLS Hub – Please be sure to select Peregian Beach SLSC as your Club, then click on 'More' and select your membership option.

If you are signing up for Nippers, select 'Family Group', if you are signing up yourself or another person please select 'individual'.

NOTE for Nippers Parents: A parent/guardian must join when you sign up a child for our Nippers program. Enter your parent details FIRST, then click on the link to add each additional new member.

After you submit your application a message will pop up on the payments page advising that your membership is pending. When your membership has been approved please log back into your SLS Hub account to pay your fees.

Renewals

Please sign in to your SLS Hub account and follow the prompts.

If you are part of a Nippers Family Group please click on the 'MORE' tab and select Family Group/s to renew everyone in your group. If you need to add or remove a member please refer to our FAQs sheet HERE

Transfers

If you are transferring from another Surf Life Saving Club your request to do so will require approval from you current Club before we can accept your application, even if you haven't been an active member at your old club for sometime.

Login to your SLS Hub account and select 'Transfer to a new organisation'. You can request a full transfer or opt for Dual Membership. Your membership category will remain the same when you become a member of Peregian Beach SLSC.

The SLS Hub is your 'go to' place for all your membership information. You can:

Renew your membership/ pay your fees
Obtain a copy of your Awards List
View your Patrol Team, Patrol Roster and completed hours
