Life Saving
About Lifesaving
Lifesaving is a volunteer community committed to preventing deaths by drowning in coastal waters and is one of the most unique organisations in the world. It offers many rewarding opportunities.
We aim to be fully inclusive and offer something for everyone no matter your age, gender, culture or swimming ability. Such as:
- Patrolling the beach as a Bronze Medallion or Surf Rescue Certificate holder.
- Assisting beach patrols or other services as a holder of an award such as First Aid, Advanced Resuscitation and Radio Operator.
- Becoming a course trainer, assessor or facilitator
- Becoming a Surf sports coach, official or team manager.
- Supporting Junior activities (Nippers) as a coordinator, age manager and water safety officer.
- Joining a committee to help support the club.
- Joining our Supporters club and assisting with fundraising.
